Among museums, the National Museum in Warsaw stands out with the enormity of its collections. Among the biographical museums, the most popular are: Museum – Manor house F. Chopin in Żelazowa Wola and the Museum of Romanticism in Opinogóra. Museums are also worth attention: Positivism in Gołotczyzna, Nałkowski in Wołomin, J. Iwaszkiewicz in Stawisko. They occupy an important place: Museum of Literature in Warsaw and the Masovian Museum in Płock. They have interesting collections: Diocesan Museum in Płock, District Museum in Ciechanów, District Museum in Ostrołęka. Warsaw and Płock are the seats of professional theaters. Amateur theaters operate, among others. in Otwock and Bronisze.
