Monument to the Ghetto Heroes located on the square at ul. Zamenhof, exhibited in 1948 r. wg proj. N. Rappaporta i L.M. Suzina, commemorating the armed uprising in the Warsaw ghetto in April-May 1943 r. The monument is made of gray basalt in the form of a vertically positioned trapezoid with bronze reliefs in its central part depicting ghetto insurgents on one side, on the other hand, the march of Jews to extermination. Two menorahs in front of the monument (seven-branched candlesticks). The rock material used to build this monument was collected by the Nazis for the German victory monument, which was to be built in Warsaw.
