Early medieval stronghold.

4 km and zach. dirt roads – Lumberjacks. A village on the Vistula River. Mentioned in mid. XIII w. as the property of the Benedictines from Płock. At the beginning of the 19th century. one of the centers of German colonization. Near the Vistula, an early medieval settlement known as the "Round Mountain". Ring-shaped with a dimension 125 on 75 m. Shaft height 3 m, a moat connecting to the ravine. Dated to three settlement phases VI, VII-VIII and XI w. Identified with the original Wyszogród stronghold. Destroyed by digging earth fortifications during World War II.
