W 8 km to the east. gravel road from Górzno – Black Brynsk. The village is located in the center of the Górzno-Lidzbark Landscape Park, among a large forest complex, was established as a result of the administrative division of Bryńsk made in 1772 r. Earlier Bryńsk was in the possession of the Płock bishops. After the division, Czarny Bryńsk became the property of Michał Rudziński, from 1797 r. Adam Fortunat Zaleski, and from 1826 r. Franciszek Czapski. W 1806 r. in an inn in the nearby Wę-gornia, a meeting "at the top" of the Prussian General. Biilowa With French Marshal Ney. W1993 r. a teaching center was established here – Green School "Ekoczar", in which the problems of nature protection are introduced to the students resting here.
In the vicinity of the village (1 km and zach.) "Czarny Bryńsk" nature reserve, created in 1973 r. on the surface 11,34 ha in order to protect the site of paniculata, an Atlantic rush plant, rare in this part of Poland. The area of the lake with the surrounding peat bog is under protection. There are also other natural peculiarities: round-leaved sundew, white ground, club moss and white water lily in large numbers.
