Bolęcin – Once upon a time a private farm and tarry. The name comes from the name Bolęta (Boleslaw, Pain-mind). The village is attractively situated on the backwaters of Wkra with sandy shores. It is a water sports and recreation center for the inhabitants of Płońsk and the surrounding area. On the Wkra river a war cemetery hiding the ashes of approx. 2500 Soviet soldiers who died in 1945 r.
